A Reflective Response on the Documentary, 5 Seasons. The objective I have chosen to analyse is 5 Seasons, which represents the Numurindi people of south-east Arnhem territory in the Northern Territorys disjuncture of Carpentaria. This documentary focuses on the seasonal calendar year of the Numurindi people, and their office of action during the seasons. I believe that this culture is not universe stereotyped, as although it is produced by Western society, it is presented and told by the Numurindi people. One division of this society, Moses Numamurdirdi, speaks about how they rifle from the land and their belief s and values about property the land protec! ted, as well as being respectful. This unless again shows differences between my culture, Western society, and theirs. We are told that Western culture believes in two seasons, skew-whiff and dry, whereas the Numurindi people believe and wave around five seasons.
